Welcome to Oakley View Shepherds Huts, where we invite you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax in our charming and comfortable huts. Our huts have been thoughtfully designed to provide a cosy and peaceful retreat. Each hut has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.
We want you to love our quaint huts as much as we do, and we have added some lovely added extras to them to make it your “home from home” when you come and stay. You can even bring your furry friend with you as we are dog-friendly!! If there is anything you don’t see in your hut that you think would improve it, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

The Kitchen
We know that a well-equipped kitchen is an essential part of any getaway. That’s why we’ve ensured that each kitchen area in our huts is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm. Whether you’re a master chef or a beginner cook, you’ll find all the essentials to whip up your favourite meals.
You’ll find an air fryer perfect for cooking healthy and delicious meals with less oil. There’s also a kettle, microwave, and cafetière/coffee maker so you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at any time of day. If you prefer a hearty breakfast to start your day, you’ll appreciate the breakfast maker/toaster that’s available.
In addition to the appliances, we’ve included utensils and crockery, so you have everything you need to cook and serve your meals. You’ll also find tea towels, washing up liquid, tea, coffee and sugar, and a fridge freezer, ensuring your food and drinks are always fresh.

The Bed Area
Upon arrival, you’ll find your bed area beautifully made up, complete with a duvet, sheets, and pillows, so you can settle in and unwind without any fuss. Our beds are comfortable and inviting, with high-quality linens that are soft to the touch and designed to keep you warm and cosy all night long.
In addition to the comfortable bed, we’ve also created a living area where you can relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The living area features a table and stools, perfect for enjoying your meals or playing board games, cards, or dominoes. You’ll also appreciate the comfy chairs, which are perfect for sinking into and forgetting about the world outside.
On chilly evenings, you can cosy up by the log burner, which comes complete with logs, fire lighters, matches, fire tools, and safety gloves, so you can enjoy a warm and inviting fire without any hassle. We’ve also provided a Bluetooth speaker, so you can set the mood with your favourite tunes, and a night light and torch for your convenience.

The Bathroom

Upon arrival, you’ll find the bathroom complete with hand soap, toilet roll, bath towels, bath mat, and hand towels, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. You’ll appreciate the soft and fluffy towels, which are perfect for wrapping yourself up after a refreshing shower.
Our showers are spacious and modern so you can wash away the stresses of everyday life in style. We’ve also provided a hairdryer, so you don’t have to bring your own, and a sink and toilet, so you have everything you need to freshen up in comfort.
